SEXY SOLIDARITIES - Bodily Autonomy, Trauma and Protest

An exhibition of the Porn Film Festival Vienna in cooperation with ÖH.akbild und Kunst im Keller.

“Sexy Solidarities” is an art exhibition exploring how extreme situations like social injustice, conflict, violence, and more can impact people’s bodies and identities. It focuses on themes like sexuality, bodily autonomy, and identity, while also considering digital contexts that seem so omnipresent nowadays. Often real experiences are not being reflected or are being warped. We want to provide space to challenge these ideas and focus on authenticity, healing, and the complexity of human experiences. We invite artists to explore these themes and show how they use their work to challenge norms, offer new perspectives, or even create guides for consensual (sexual) healing.
