Draw Your Genitals

What do you see and feel when you look at your genitals?

How do you want them to be perceived? And what do they actually look like?

This workshop invites you to explore your genitals as one of the many unique parts of your body. It's a judgment-free space to experiment with different painting materials and techniques, connect with yourself and overcome your inner critic.

After a short introduction, a few sketching exercises will get your creativity flowing. You then have around an hour to fully immerse yourself in your painting process. There will be a sharing round in the end to integrate your experience and present your works - if you feel like it! ◡̈ You will only draw yourself using a mirror - not each other.

No prior painting experience needed.

Open to all genders and genitals!

People should be confident/comfortable to undress in front of others, although no one will look at their genitals from very close except themselves – if someone doesnt want to undress, they can take pictures before and draw based on those. FACILITATOR CV: neue wut is a multidisciplinary artist, singer/songwriter, performer, event organizer and systemic coach. Their works challenge patriarchal norms, confront taboos of sexuality and trauma, and create space for collective reflection.

ATTENTION: FREE "Pre-Registration" Ticket

This free ticket is only a pre-registration for the workshop. After booking, you will receive an email from the facilitator with a short questionnaire. This step is required to ensure a respectful and comfortable atmosphere for all participants. Only once your answers are reviewed and accepted, you will receive a private link to book your final paid ticket (5€). Please check your email and respond promptly! Accessibiliity: Wheelchair doable - we would just have to improvise a bit with the mirrors.

No special drawing/crafting skills needed.

Not doable for blind people, unless they want to experiment with feeling their genitals and then drawing what they feel.

Doable for people with a hearing disability if they have a hearing aid - i will do most of the talking and then they work by themselves.
